On Saturday 27th June, the RAFYC held a “Scramble in the Hamble” – a day of fun, food, rounders and water-fights. My family and I went along, thinking that it could be nice to get to know some new people, and, by the end of it, found ourselves soaked to the skin and high with adrenaline and laughter.

It would be very remiss of us not to congratulate John and Ros Watts on their wedding last Friday.
John and Ros were married in town and then celebrated at Velshedas on Friday night with a party, BBQ and dancing that people will remember for quite some time.

Club members, Stephen and Debbie Webb, the indefatigable Dave Evans of Hamble Harbour Office fame plus beautiful visiting Italian student Chiara, raced Puma of Paglesham to finish 31st overall on handicap, well within a planned top 100 finish.
