Recent AGM

Jane and I would like to record our thanks to the membership of the Royal Air Force Yacht Club for the very kind gifts presented to us at the end of what was a most unpleasant AGM. The picture will occupy a special place in our house and we put the whisky tumblers to good use that very evening!

It was a delight to be surrounded by so many friends at the bar after the AGM - a necessary tonic to end the day. Jane was also suitably embarrassed when the Club sang Happy Birthday to her too! We left the Club that evening with our affection for this Club somewhat rekindled from the depths to which it had dropped earlier in the day.
We both look forward to seeing many of you on the water and in the Club over the coming months!
