Tony & Sarah Boas sailed Bold Warrior, a Sadler 34, to Spain in July 2005. They returned island hopping along the French Atlantic coast. They now own Ishtar, a Malo 38.

After spending July in Spain, we left Gijón in a NW5 on a broad reach heading for La Rochelle.  Two dawns later, with the wind starting to die, we decided that the bustle and bright lights of La Rochelle seemed a bit daunting, so we peeled off into Le Douhet on Ile d’Oléron for some peace. This set the pattern for our return home: Island hopping!
