 Graham Charlwood is holding the third prize for Division 4 IRC of the JOG Race to Deauville with Sigma 38 Dragonfly of Bosham accompanied by fellow member Neil Aitchison and crew.We were third last year and although we tried to do better we werent the only ones to choose to stay east of the rhumb line as the wind was forecast to be going east. This enabled us to carry our spinnaker for longer on a fine reach once the new wind kicked in. The starting wind was NW 3 backing through becalmed N to E 3-4 later. We finished just after lunch on Saturday.A celebratory dinner was enjoyed by all on Saturday with a fine white sail reach all the way back to the Solent on Monday morning.
