Royal Air Force Yacht Club

The Folly Inn is a feature of the Medina river a mile upstream from Cowes. It is a popular

lunch or dinner location for yachtsmen and has a large midstream pontoon opposite with attendant

water taxis.

The club has booked up to 40 berths with 80 for dinner in a room of the Folly.

Arrival is on Saturday afternoon at the pontoon for the clubs largest annual pontoon party.

Bring wellies as well as drinks & nibbles because the pontoon can tend to submerge during events!

Saturday evening we take the water taxis across to the Folly for dinner

Sunday, after a leasurely start there is a timed passage sailing event returning to the Hamble.
