A relaxed and friendly
club
where
membership is open for all to apply. Current members & their
families come from all walks of life enjoying the atmosphere of
the clubhouse from which we sail and socialise whatever the
season.
No RAF service is needed to apply for
membership
As a member of the Club, you and your
family can participate in a full and active cruising, racing and
social programme. This could take you across the Channel,
cruising the South Coast or relaxing in the Club bar. Our love
of boating has made the Club the flourishing & unique fraternity
it is today.

If this is your
first visit to us, please take the time to explore our club through our
website. The menu items above will quickly give you an overview of what
our club is about, our facilities and our activities. If you like what
you see, there is a page covering membership under 'About Us'.
Established by officers of the RAF in 1932,
the Club has enjoyed a close relationship with the service ever
since. Today, however, no service background is required to
apply for membership, the main criteria being a demonstrable interest in
boating.
The RAFYC is
affiliated to the RYA and has a number of reciprocal
arrangements with other clubs at home and abroad. The club
welcomes visiting yachtsmen. |
