RCS Appeal to members to come and help out at the club There are some Club projects coming up in the next couple of months requiring work parties and volunteers, check the club notice board or contact Dave le Mare direct. Out board Engine Shed 1. To prevent the ingress of surface water into the shed we are going to build a low brick wall inside the shed across the back wall this will require half a dozen helpers to move outboard engines and build the wall. We plan to carry out this work on Sat 6 Feb 10. The job requires dry weather. 2. The next task in the outboard shed is to rebuild the engine rack on the left side This will give better storage and more space to access the engines. This tasked is planned for Sat 20 Feb 10 subject to completion of task 1. Members are advised to remove their engines to allow this work to be carried out. At this point abandoned outboard engines will be removed from the shed. Get the new stickers on your engines please! Dinghy Storage Once the current dinghy stickers are displayed on the dinghies the unregistered and abandoned dinghies need to be moved to the long term storage area for retrieval or disposal. This task is planned for Sat 13 Mar 10 we need at least a dozen volunteers for this task . Friday launch service In order to expand the launch service to Fridays during the summer it is proposed that we have six to eight volunteer club members to operate on a Friday roster.
